GoPro just launched two new cameras that are going to be on every kid’s wishing list. And probably yours too. One is the new Hero model and the other a new 360 camera, the Max.
The next-level vlogging camera
GoPro Max is the new generation of the Fusion. A dual lens 360 camera to create pretty much whatever you want. By some described as the next-level vlogging camera with its built-in front facing display and shotgun-mic audio capabilities.
The GoPro camera is water proof to 5 meters and have six built in microphones. The camera allows you to film 360, regular, take epic panoramas or with a wide angle up to 190 degrees.
GoPro Max is 30% smaller and 20% lighter than it’s predecessor and both the Max and the Hero 8 comes with new aluminum attachments - an inbuilt mounting system - to connect whatever sticks, microphones lights and what not.
But the big thing is the stabilizer and the horizon leveling - set to destroy crooked horizons for all future. The Max HyperSmooth is a Electronic Image Stabilization introduced with the Hero 7. With the new improved stabilization this camera is as powerful as any given gimball.
The six built in microphones is created to capture audio from a 360 degree area. But you can also use directional audio for vlogging, wind-noise reduction and the best stereo sound ever from a GoPro.

GoPro Hero 8 Black
The new working horse for action sports athletes.
This GoPro Hero 8 Black have the same aluminum attachments as the Max to connect whatever external screens, sticks, microphones, lights and what not.
The microphone is heavily improved with a noice reducer and new placement on the camera - on the front.
The GoPro 8 comes with a well renowned stabilization system. HyperSmooth 2.0 builds upon the same principlies as the 7. But this time you can choose to set it to 'high' or turn on a 'boost' mode which gives an extra smooth image but with a crop factor. This is available on all shooting modes.
TimeWarp 2.0 is another refreshed feature that allows you to get a surreal hyperlapse effect. With the GoPro 8 you can set it to auto mode so you don't have to guess which speed your video-lapse is shooting. Sensors will detect motion and adjust the speed for you. On-screen there is a "real time" button which lets you jump out of TimeWarp.
A negative aspect is that it can get pretty hot while recording.
