We had a chat with ski shops around the country and asked them.
What will be this year's most popular products?

This is their accumulated list of the most interesting gear 2020.

Dynafit Hoji Free Black.jpg
"People like multiple types of skiing, but they don’t want multiple ski boots. With this in mind we can be pretty sure that Dynafit Hoiji Free will be a popular product this winter."

The ski boot is compatible with both frame bindings and tech bindings. A boot made to ski hard and walk easy. If combined with last years popular Shift binding from Salomon you'll have a good chance of being satisfied in whatever adventure you pull this winter.

  • Forward lean: 11° + Release for Walking
  • Weight: 1550 gr
  • Gender: Unisex
  • Boot sole: Formula Pomoca Climb

The North Face Summit Series L6 Futurelight black orange.jpgThere’s finally a new membrane out to really challenge Gore-Tex status of being the most advanced breathable and waterproof technology in the world.
"FUTURELIGHT is a biodegradable membrane with a breathing capacity out of the normal, and then we haven’t even began to talk about the water resistance…"
The Futurelight fabric is soft and stretchy and the membrane will only be available in North Face products this winter.

  • Membrane consists of 85% air
  • PFC free
  • Allows air to move through at a rate of about 1,5ftf³/minute
  • Moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) is 75,000 g/m²/day

"Why should the good piste rider settle for less than the race riders?"
"Lying in a new groomed piste with a pair of GS-skis intended for a young racer is like a dream for all good skiers." You’ll get an insane ice grip and speed stability that gives you the feeling that you have iron under your feet. In addition, they are not more expensive than the most advanced skis sold in regular stores. It is important, however, to look at which model you buy so that you don’t get the same type of ski as Matts Olsson or Sara Hector. Then it will be difficult for real.

Scott Patrol E1 Backpack kit grey black.jpg
"Scotts new electronic avalanche backpack was sold out really fast last year. It is both light in weight and easy to handle."
Whether you’re flying or taking the train to the Alps, it’s nice to avoid the stress of dealing with activation cylinders.

  • SCOTT Alpride E1 Airbag System
  • One of the lightest on the market
  • 1280g Full system weight
  • 1390g Backpack
  • 30L
  • No travel/shipping restrictions

"It’s a unique all mountain boot designed for smooth riding with a responsive and buttery flex." The grippy Michelin Fiberlite outsole makes it a great boot for backcountry hikes, while the inner sole equipped with Intuition foam, makes this shoe a 100% shapable and adjustable after your feet.

Calle at Åre Skidfabrik has developed a new junior model together with the kids in Åre. The result is a relatively soft but really high-performance all-mountain ski. With other words, the kids will be on fire this winter.

Thanks for all your input Åre Skidsport, Alpingaraget and Stadium Åre.
