The early 4* FWQ start in Queenstown became a high level event with a second place for Cody Bramwell, who’s stoked to soon get started with his first season at the World Tour.
Last years Region 1 snowboard winner, Cody Bramwell, had a good snow premiere at the early FWQ start in NZ. Cody was satisfied after the run, even if he this time was beaten by American FWT rookie Blake Moller, who also qualified for the World Tour last year.
— It felt great to be back on snow again, but it’s a bit hectic to go from summer straight into comp mode. I’m happy that I could put down my run, because I seriously don’t think I’ve ever crashed as much as I did the days before. I’m also stoked for Blake who performed a sick run. He really deserved the first place this time. Sharing the top with him shows that we both probably deserve our rookie places at the FWT, says Cody. Are you looking forward to start off the FWT season in a few month?
—Oh yes I’m really excited, and of course bit nervous too. It’s a dream for me to even be part of this, and I can't wait to get out there and show what I’m capable of doing. I’m going to spend the fall at the gym to become a real stomp monster this winter!A crew of other Swedish riders were also competing. For complete results check out freerideworldtour.com
